HYDRA's Story...
Hydra is from a litter of 6 pups. She is about 3 1/2 lbs. and will be 8 wks. old on Sunday. She will be ready for her forever home soon. We are not really sure of her breed. Her mother looks like she may have some dachshund in her, but we are unsure of the mix. Hydra should be no more than 15lbs. when grown.

If you're interested in adopting one of our dogs, please visit our website kritterkamprescue.com and fill out and adoption application. Adoption fee applies. Most Kritter Kamp Rescue dogs and older puppies are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, and current on all vaccinations. If not, it is due to young age or only recently being acquired by KKR. These services are included in the adoption fee. $120-$260 is the USUAL adoption fee based on sex, age, and breed of the dog or puppy. Young pups are at the high end of the price range.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

HYDRA, a Elk Grove Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Elk Grove, or seeking a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Elk Grove.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elk Grove already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elk Grove breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elk Grove paves the way for another one to be saved.
