AVAILABLE IN THE MIDWEST OR NEW ENGLAND REGIONS. Raleigh! What can we say about this boy. My goodness, he is an angel. I went into one of the worst city shelters (not because of the workers, just hundreds of dogs surrendered and it's loud, noisy and stinky). Obviously we are a lab rescue, but how on earth do I leave this young fellow behind. He is not a lab! We believe he is a springer/hound of some type but are unsure of his exact mix. Walking past him, he laid there in his kennel space so hopeless! When I walked by, he lifted his head, then just slowly laid it back down as to just be passed by again. After looking at some of the other labs we took, I marched straight back and took him too. He was so excited and just couldn’t believe he was chosen. Raleigh is 8 months old, tall and slender, and a great great boy! I love him so and if we didn’t have so many of our own, I would make him mine. He is young and active, he needs obedience, although does ok on lead and knows sit. He takes treats nicely, he is smart, seemingly house trained, crate trained and just a really special boy. He will do well in most house holds with an active family and children of any age as long as they are respectful to him. He would be a great dog park dog, running partner, hiking buddy or just a good ol hanging at home with his people kinda boy. Raleigh is smart and will do well with training and obedience and is going to make some lucky family a terrific new family member. Raleigh is set to be neutered, up to date on all vaccinations and is heart worm negative. He is microchipped and kept on frontline and heart guard.
