My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Taylor.
Taylor is a very handsome 10 year old long haired Chihuahua! He is neutered, current on all of his shots, heart worm negative and he has a micro chip.

You may be thinking...Chihuahua with all these Poms??!! Well, we just couldn’t pass him by when contacted by the local animal shelter for help with him. This boy was so sick with that nasty kennel cough when we picked him up. He was quite a project for his foster mom helping him eat, taking his medicines, and his vet visits. However, Taylor is all better now and looking for his forever home.

He does not have any teeth due to his previous poor dental health, but eats a quality canned dog food very well. He is mostly housebroken and kennel trained when left alone during the day. He gets along with all his foster dog friends here, but chases the kitty’s! He may do best with no cats.

Taylor is being spoiled now and sleeps in bed at night with his foster mom and dad. He stays under the covers and doesn’t move all night until morning. Taylor loves to go for car rides too!

Taylor will need to stay on a heart medication for the rest of his life. He does have a slightly enlarged heart, but that doesn’t seem to slow him down much. Lastly, Taylor does need some time to “warm up” to strangers like most Chihuahuas.
