My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zak is a 1 year old who arrived from a shelter in NY. He was surrendered for biting a toddler in the family he was with. At his foster home, he has only been loving and wants to be with his people. He does well with a giant schnauzer in his foster home. He does not like to be picked up and has snapped then. Zak is looking for a home with no children and not many steps. He can walk up steps but is not used to doing a whole flight.

Dogs will only be adopted to residents of the following: Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia and DC.

Adopters must agree to take the dog through obedience training within 3 months of adoption (unless the dog is over age 10).

Adopters must agree to keep the dog current on vaccinations and heart worm, flea, tick prevention on a year round basis.
