Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Roscoe has been through a lot in his short life, but he's still an absolute charmer.
He deserves a home with a family that is going to give him all the love and attention he deserves. He is still very much a puppy, he's around 2 years old. He wants to play, play play!!!! He enjoys fetch and would love a dog friend who is young and playful like he is. Even if he's the only dog, he's self-entertaining. He can throw around a toy and play his own game, and if he can't find a toy, he'll chase his tail!
He came to us as an emergency with a horrible wound on his front let that had been left untreated for days. By the time he made his way to us, it was too late to save his leg. Honestly, I don't think anyone told Roscoe, because not having a 4th leg has not slowed him down one bit.
He doesn't seem to be a fan of kitties, unfortunately.
He's a loving boy that would benefit from some basic obedience training (he's gone through extensive training with us, but training wth his new family will really help to build a bond and reinforce all he's learned). Because he's missing a leg, he likes to lean a lot on his people for some lovin'. As such, probably not ideal for really little kids, because his weight might knock them over when he leans.
He is not a dog that greets everyone like a long lost best friend, he needs time to get to know new people. When he does, he's very loyal and loving. He's worth the time it takes to earn his trust, we promise!
