Taite's Story...
TAITE – 4 mo. old Ruddy Male Abyssinian

Hello, my name is Taite, which means “Cheerful”, and I am one happy guy. I can never get enough play time and I can never have too many toys. My favorite is a feather mouse that I carry around in my mouth so no siblings can steal it from me.

I came into rescue with my sister Amber Sun (who I adore) and my two brothers, Tucker and Tyco. I came to rescue with Herpes Conjunctivitis and I required round the clock medication in both eyes. My right eye has a slight corneal rupture which has healed nicely and I only have a slight grey spot on that eye and my left eye is completely normal.

This would be my ideal dream home: I want to be adopted with my sister Amber Sun because we are very bonded. My new adopted parent(s) must know and understand that I had the Feline Herpes virus as a very young kitten. Although I am healthy now and plan to live a very long life INDOORS, I could have a flare up sometime in my lifetime. My family must be proactive and give me annual check ups and take me to the vet when I need to be seen.

If you want to meet me please contact my foster mom. I live in Davis .

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Taite, a Davis Abyssinian kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Abyssinian for sale in Davis, or seeking a Abyssinian kitten from a breeder in Davis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Davis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Davis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Abyssinian breeders who help with Abyssinian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Davis paves the way for another one to be saved.
