Apollo's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Apollo's Story...
Apollo and 4 siblings are the puppies of a rescued beagle mom. These pups are all sooo sweet, They are a little shy at first but love to be held and kissed. They have the best temperament and are really pretty calm for puppies. They were born on June 9th so they are currently 9 months old. All the pups have been adopted now except Apollo and Aimie.  Apollo has been neutered, micro chipped and has had three sets of puppy shots along with rabies and bordetella.  He weighs about 35 lbs and will probably not exceed 40 lbs when grown.  Apollo has met our cat and just waited for kitty to come to him and they rubbed noses and moved on. He is also very close to being housetrained. Apollo would make a great addition to any home with his exceptionally sweet and respectful personality. If you would like to make this little guy your new forever family member, please contact lorainecm@comcast.net or omlc7@hotmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Apollo, a Harrisonburg Labrador Retriever/Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Beagle for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Beagle puppy from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Beagle breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
