Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Qweenie & Lizzie are two adorable sisters who came to us after being discovered (cage and all!) on someone's front steps. While we cannot comprehend their former family's betrayal, and fear to think what would happen if someone else saw them first, we are happy to know that they are finally safe. The girls seem to have realized the ordeal and the subsequent rescue, and have showered our volunteers with happy squeaks, ecstatic runs through tunnels in our spacious guinea pig playroom, and have achieved new levels of being adorable as they enjoy their daily salads. Very trusting and friendly from the start, Qweenie and Lizzie are volunteer favorites as they love spending time being held, and being interacted with. As soon as we come close to them, the ladies find their way into our laps and arms.
While both are confident and affectionate, Qweenie is definitely the leader, and she is always the one who makes the first step, engages in the first exciting exploration of a new hideout or tunnel, and is the first one to flat out start purring while enjoying some one-on-one time with a friendly human. We can not help ourselves with saying YAS QWEEN all day long as an aftereffect of Qweenie's unmistaken charm! Miss Lizzie is just a tad bit more reserved, but nevertheless, a true companion and a partner in crime to her best friend Qweenie.
