Anna is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and is FIV+. That does not mean that she is sick Anna is very healthy and can love a long and healthy life. Many cats with FIV can live in a multi-cat household and never transmit the FIV. It is only spead through penetrating bite wounds. You can read about it at this link from Cornell University
