I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, and up to date with shots.

Olive (Roseville)'s Story...

This fun little girl is Olive.  She is 8 years old, 12” tall and weighs 15.5 pounds.  Olive has lots of energy, but is also patient and gentle.

Olive would be good for most homes who love this breed.  She will sit, stay and come if she knows you have treats!  She is house trained, rides great in the car, likes to play with her toys, loves her walks and hikes to the creek where she can chase the splashes, and previously has lived with a cat.  We’re not 100% sure how well she gets along with cats.

Olive loves life and her family.  She has been around other dogs and has been ok, but we feel she would absolutely love a family where she was the only Queen of the house.

If you would like to know more about Olive, please contact Lynn at lynnbonham1@gmail.com or go to our website at www.russellrescueca.com to fill out an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Olive (Roseville), a Carmichael Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Carmichael, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Carmichael.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carmichael already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carmichael breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carmichael paves the way for another one to be saved.
