Sylvester Stallone-New Photos's Story...
"Sylvester Stallone" is a cute 3-year old male kitty who arrived at the HSOV on February 6, 2017 along with several of his best friends who shared his previous household. Their mistress had passed away, and there was nowhere else for them to call home :(

"Sylvester Stallone" has a beautifully-marked white-and-brown tabby coat, a long tail, and an adorable face with a large patch of brown on his nose/muzzle and the most precious expressions on his cute face. He has a sweet, quiet disposition and a friendly, easygoing personality. "Sylvester" is usually taking a catnap on his elevated bed and knows how to relax :)

He was given vaccinations, wormer, and Revolution flea treatment on February 6, 2017. "Sylvester" weighed 7 lbs. the day he arrived in our shelter. He was neutered on March 29, 2017 and was also given rabies vaccine. "Sylvester Stallone" weighed 8.2 lbs. on that date.

Rescue groups may contact our Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation and also provide combo testing without charge to rescues/fosters.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sylvester Stallone-New Photos, a Marietta Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
