Sylvia's Story...
Sylvia is such a beautiful cattle dog. She is shy and will take some time for her to warm up to her new family. Sylvia was found wandering on the REZ and was brought to rescue. She is sweet, not a mean bone in her body. She just needs a family with some patience to let her feel love and at home. Sylvia loves loves loves other doggies so a home with another stable doggie would be best for her. She pays no attention to cats and is quite gentle with them. Sylvia is house trained, crate trained (although she needs no crate). She likes water, toys and will come with her special blanket that she likes to cuddle up with at night. Sylvia will be spayed, up to date on all shots, rabies and micro chipped prior to her adoption being final. Sylvia is currently being fostered in Cave Creek.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sylvia, a Cave Creek Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Shepherd for sale in Cave Creek, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Cave Creek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cave Creek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cave Creek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cave Creek paves the way for another one to be saved.
