Jackson's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Jackson's Story...
Jackson is an 8 month old good time boy! He is a friend to everyone, loves other dogs, is gentle with cats and shows no interest in my horses (a good thing). In fact I think Jackson would be well-suited as a trail dog – a horseback riding, mountain bike riding or running companion. Loves to ride in cars, does very well.
Jackson is a ‘rescue’, and had started the first of his life very sheltered, and enclosed long days in a crate. We are working on training, and he will need a new home willing to continue the work. He’s very interested to learn and listens well, but just hasn’t had much training. So yeah, with a little continued training Jackson will thrive. He’s not a ‘beginner’ dog – as he’s very energetic, and will need boundaries that an experienced dog home will know how to give him. All around Jackson has a great temperament and is going to make a wonderful companion.

Jackson is microchipped, neutered and current on vaccinations. His adoption fee is $300.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jackson, a Bend Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Bend, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Bend.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bend already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bend breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bend paves the way for another one to be saved.
