Facts about Annabelle

  • Breed: Boxer/American Bulldog Mix
  • Color: Brindle
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Female
Although Annabelle might have had a rough life, her love for people is utterly unmatched. This Bulldog/Boxer was found as a stray, and since she wasn't claimed, we know someone never realized what a light they had in their life with her company. She might look a little intimidating at first, but this curvy gal is one big ball of mushy love. Wiggle, snort, lick, wiggle more! Anyone who has any experience with training dogs can see instantly what a smart, eager to please girl Annabelle is, and she would make an amazing project dog for some awesome tricks. How about some obedience or agility training? Yes please! Anna is good with most other dogs and just adores people, so why hasn't she found a home yet? Though she may be a big girl, she is 100% lapdog as far as she's concerned. She is spayed, Lyme's tested, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and ready for a couch to take over!

About Teacher's Pet Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Check out our wonderful dogs for adoption.
We are a 501 (c) 3 non-profit association and are located in Coudersport.
Our goal is to lessen the suffering and neglect of animals and to help people who have to give up their dogs. We also want to assist people who wish to open their hearts and homes to a new family member.

There are a large number of animals in Potter County that are in need of help and Potter County does not have an SPCA. Our goal is to assist dogs in the area that are turned in to us, rehabilitate dogs when necessary, and teach socialization skills.

Although we currently have limited space and resources, we are here to help.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We can be reached through the email address provided. Currently, visitation of animals is by appointment only.

Our Adoption Process...

We ask a donation made out to Teacher's Pet Rescue.
We spay/neuter before adoption. All dogs are up to date with vaccines, are microchipped and are treated for fleas and parasites.

While we do not discriminate based on income, we reserve the right to turn away any potential adopter who does not meet our standards of care for the animal. We also reserve the right to conduct a home visit and remove any animal from the adopted home if that animal is being mistreated or tethered outside for more than a reasonable period of time (dependent on weather conditions). We believe that dogs are social animals and must be with their families. We understand that people must work and that a dog may be left in the house or other suitable place. We do not support tethering the animal during this period of time. Dogs should not be left unattended 24/7.

Interested parties are required to complete the correct form, whether it be a surrender or adoption.
