Checkers is a shy, short haired black and white boy who would love to find his forever home. He has this adorable way of grumbling as you pet him. It's almost like his version of purring. Although we don't know a lot about his past, we do know that this guy is quiet and sweet. He would fit into a home where there aren't a lot of distractions. If you have a place in your heart for this awesome 5 year old fella, then please come into the shelter and ask for Checkers by name.
