Frances is a sweet six-year-old girl who requires a very special home. She arrived at TCR as a stray, and needs a quiet home with no children or other animals so she can feel comfortable and loved. While her disposition is usually sweet and affectionate, her reaction to things that frighten her is to confront them with aggression. She has been triggered on occasion by scary, loud, or unfamiliar noises around the house, resulting in some nasty scratches. A Feliway diffuser seems to be helping to mitigate her anxiety, but she will nonetheless need a patient and understanding adopter.

Frances loves to bring you toys that she's "hunted", and she likes to curl up near you (or on you!) for a good cuddle. She also loves a good chin-scratch.

Special Note from my Foster Family: We love Frances and have high hopes for her - despite a couple of "incidents". We think that for the right person - who is mindful of her issues and patient enough to help her work through them - Frances will make a fantastic cat.
