My story

Hi my name is Little Girl and I'm a female, 14 year old Akita mix who came to the shelter as a stray. A county animal shelter is sure not where I thought I'd be spending my golden years. Although 14 is just a number and it may be VERY difficult for someone to think about adopting an older dog, I can assure you that I do not act or look my age. I am happy, affectionate, playful and will make a wonderful companion for just about anyone. I received an A on my temp test and seem to enjoy everyone I encounter - dogs and people alike. I crave attention and will sit by the volunteers for as long as they'll let me. If you're looking for a quiet pup to sit at your feet as you work or watch tv, please consider rescuing a senior pet and come in to meet me today.
