Lorenzo's Story...
Lorenzo is a sweet, playful boy, and what a gorgeous coat! He enjoys going for runs, playing tug of war, and playing hide-and-seek. He is both potty and kennel-trained. Though he is fostered with other dogs, he would thrive best in a single-dog family, or with a multi-dog family who will work with him on confidence around other dogs. He does great around kids, loves to run and play with them. He would be a great protector and snuggle-buddy for anyone. He adapts quickly and just wants to please. He would be a great addition to any family!

For all adoptions, our group requires a home-visit. The home-visit is to help us ensure the best match for the dog and adoptive family. In most cases our foster dogs will require a fenced yard; there are some exceptions on a case-by-case basis. Our dogs are fostered in our homes as a family pet, no 'yard dogs'.

Our adoption fee is $90 which helps to cover spay/neuter, rabies vaccine, DHLPP vaccine, Bordetella, microchip and heartworm tested negative (maintained on monthly heartworm and flea prevention) for each of our rescue dogs.

Please visit or email for an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lorenzo, a Evans Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Evans, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Evans.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evans already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evans breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evans paves the way for another one to be saved.
