I came from an abusive background and am still working on learning to trust and that humans can be nice. I warm up to women faster than men. I've been doing well with potty training but am still not 100%. I HATE the leash, so that's a future project in the works. But I'm crate trained, good with kids, and like to play with cats. However, cows and chickens (and other animals to chase) may not be a good idea around me. I do well with submissive dogs but only because I'm scared of alpha personalities.
I love to play when I get up the courage and have only recently discovered these amazing things called "squeaky toys". I am looking for a home with lots of patience to help continue building trust and remind me that I am a good girl. I am looking for a family that will treat me like one of their own, who can give me a safe space in their home and hearts. I just know there is someone out there who can bring me to my full loving, tail wagging potential.
