Hi! I'm Skye, a four-year old, 40 pound girl and I am learning how to walk on a leash but it is not may favorite thing. I do, however, love to run and play with kiddos, other dogs, and even cats! Therefore a home where I can have free access to a yard would be great! If you forget to pet me or hold me or pay attention to me, don't worry! I will remind you by pawing at your hand while giving you my best sad and sweet puppy dog eyes! Works every time! I am crate trained and have perfect house manners except when someone tries to put the evil leash on me! Then I get so scared, and in my fear I have on occasion had a small accident. I'm sorry, but I can't help it! Maybe over time I can learn to associate the leash with good things, but right now it's the scariest thing in the world and I want no part of it!
I am looking for a family who can give me lots of love and help me feel safe and secure so I can build up my confidence! I just know there is someone out there who can bring me to my full tail-wagging potential! Is it you?
