Stella Ann's Story...
My name is Stella Ann. I am about 4 years old. I'm looking for a new home because my people could no longer take care of me. I had something called a hernia - all I know is I had to go to the vet many times and it was pretty uncomfortable. It is gone now, and I'm feeling much better! I'm pretty easy to please. I like other dogs, cats and people, including children. I was trained to go potty on a piddle pad, but if you prefer I do my business outside I will. I just don't like the cold very much! When it's cold I love to sit near the nice warm fireplace. I'm not picky about food - my foster mom says I'm a little overweight, but I say I had to pack on some fat for the cold winter months. I like to go for walks, but I really love car rides! If you have room for me in your home I would love for you to come meet me!

Stella Ann is spayed, heartworm negative, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, treated with dewormer and flea and heartworm preventative. Her adoption fee is $300.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stella Ann, a Flushing Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Flushing, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Flushing.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Flushing already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Flushing breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Flushing paves the way for another one to be saved.
