for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Monique's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Monique's Story...
Sweet Monique is such a nice girl! It's hard to imagine why anyone would leave her out on the streets by herself...

But the kindness of strangers has gotten her here, where she can find a new and loving home!

Now, Monique is a big girl - she weighs just over 23 lbs and she certainly needs to lose some of that. The poor dear couldn't groom herself properly and she ended up all matted on her back end and had to suffer the indignity of a shave down. But her fur will grow back and she'll be lovely in no time!

She loves attention and gets super worked up over catnip (which may help her burn off some calories in a home where she can run around a bit!) and she's looking for a person who appreciates a big kitty!

Is Monique right for you? Stop in to meet her today!

Monique has been vaccinated, wormed, spayed/neutered and tested negative for FELV/FIV which is all included in the $65 adoption fee. If you would like to adopt this cat, you must come into the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 12-4. (Closed Mondays & Wednesdays) All cats must leave the shelter in a carrier. If you do not bring one with you, one must be purchased at the shelter if available for $5.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Monique, a Seville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Seville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Seville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seville paves the way for another one to be saved.
