Luke's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Luke's Story...
Luke is a very sweet, active 3 year old, 65 pound mix. He is very well behaved in the home and loves to go on walks/ runs with his people. He can be shy at first with men but warms up very quickly and he was bonded very well with his previous "dad". He is very well socialized with other dogs and with his old family went to doggy daycare often. Unfortunatley they are no longer able to keep a dog his size. He is neutered, up to date on shots, and current on heartworm and flea medication as well as being microchipped. West Houston Animal Rescue has an adoption process that includes an application, vet check, and home visit. His adoption fee is $150.

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Staffordshire Bull Terrier for sale in Houston, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
