Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ROONEY is a little Jack Russell that was being passed around from new owner to new owner on craigslist. The last person kept him for 4 months and decided to surrender him to a rescue instead of passing him on yet again. He needed help badly so CCR took him in. Rooney's approximate D.O.B. is 3/14/08 and he weighs about 26 lbs. Rooney has been brought up to date on all his shots, wormed, neutered, tested negative for heartworms and is on monthly heartworm prevention. He is house trained, crate trained and walks pretty well on a leash. He is a good boy and knows basic commands like sit and shake, etc. He is alert and will bark at strange noises, but will quiet down when told to. He is not a great snuggler or kisser, but likes to just hang out with his people. We have been told by the last owner that he is not good at all with other dogs and is dominant. We have not seen any aggression towards other dogs so far. He even rode in the car and went to the vet with a female dog his size and did fine. Over all he is a good dog and a nice companion and would do well in a home with a low key family with no younger children.
