Bender's Story...
Hello I'm Bender, I'm a 5 years old Chihuahua/Beagle mix. I'm a cool small dog, all 18 lbs of me. I currently attend doggy day care regularly and boy, I love playing with other dogs! Sometimes our doggy daycare Mommy uses me as an example because I'm so smart. I know lots of cool tricks! I don't mind cats, they don't bother me. I would prefer children who are calm and dog savvy so I can snuggle up to them. I live with a newborn now and my Dad can hold me in one arm and baby in the other. It's important that I protect my family, if that door bell rings I will let you know we have a visitor but once everyone's settled I will quiet down and relax. I love daily walks and snuggles! My adoption fee is $150. Visit https://mustlovedogsnw.org/ to download the adoption application located under the 'How to get Involved' tab.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bender, a Vancouver Chihuahua/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Beagle for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Chihuahua/Beagle dog from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Beagle breeders who help with Chihuahua/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
