My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Napoleon. I'm a 1-year-old neutered male Lhasa Apso mix. I weigh about 16 pounds. I'm microchipped and current on vaccinations. I'm a sweet, lovable little guy who would love to be your constant companion. I'd make the perfect little lap dog! I get along with everyone I meet - humans and canines alike. There are no strangers in my book, just friends I've yet to meet!

I arrived here by way of the South LA pound. The truth about me is that I used to have a home. For no fault of my own, my previous family surrendered me to the shelter. When they brought me in, they reported that I had been hit by a car 6 months prior. When the shelter vet examined me, they noted that I wasn't bearing any weight on my left hind leg, most likely as a result of the accident. I sometimes walk with a limp or lift my leg entirely, but it has healed and I won't require any further care.

Since I was in the medical ward at the pound, I got to know a couple of volunteers pretty well. They must have taken a liking to me, because they contacted their friends at CageFree and asked them to find me a forever home. Lucky for me, they agreed! The very next day, I took my freedom ride to CageFree's facility. So now here I sit, waiting patiently for my forever family to come along. Could it be you?!
