Rodeo's Story...
**PLEASE READ TO THE END FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION.**

Rodeo is a nervous boy who lived his life on the streets before coming to TXCR and is still working on being a pet. Rodeo is looking for someone to show him what love is and the patience to give him time to come out of his shell. Rodeo is 2 years old and weighs 8 lbs. He is a runner, not a biter. Rodeo is looking for a behavior foster or patient adopter to help him come out of shell. The journey with him will be a wonderful reward. We feel he would do best in a quiet home with no small children.

If you would like to adopt Rodeo, please fill out an application at www.TexasChihuahuaRescue.com. His adoption fee, including transportation to PA with vetting paperwork, microchip registration to adopter, collar & harness, is $400.

Texas Chihuahua Rescue is based in San Antonio, Texas. All of our adoptable dogs are located in the San Antonio area. Additional photos and videos will be made available to potential adopters upon approval of our online adoption application. Transport arrangements will be made upon application approval and completion of the adoption agreement.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rodeo, a Allentown Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
