My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Lilly is 6 month rough coated Border Collie pup brought to rescue from a working litter with a bit more puppies than they can find the right homes for! Lilly and her brothers have been well socialized with various adults and children coming to the ranch and meeting some other dogs. She is an active pup with a strong presence to hold up to all the boys of course! Lilly follows her canine parents as they go to work on the farm and herds the barn cats to their place, of course she follows the human commands and knows some basic commands and is watching hand signals as she is very quick to learn however she is not leash trained or fully house trained. She never wants to go off and do her own Border Collie things she wants to be outside with you and the pack. Lilly is a great r pup for BC owners or some one wanting a loving, caring smart pup to train into a wonderful Border Collie. This breed does very well with plenty of stimulation/exercise incorporating stimulation, quieter settings, routine, knowing the expectations of a puppy and a herding dog. Lily will be fully vaccinated and spayed when more of age or a spay contract, micro chipped. An ideal home for her would be where plenty of time to adjust to new surrounding, socializing her to new surroundings/various puppy skills, crate training, someone who can give time during a work day for a hearty break, fully fenced in yard 6 feet, no apartments, children 6 and up, either other dogs in the home or socialization with dogs, if there is a cat in the home it must be dog friendly assuming that it could be herded and this is a young active dog. I can certainly recommend quite a lot of golden rules and must haves with young dogs and want a working Foster to Adopt relationship for Lilly. Adoption donation $300 must have an approved application emailed back to an inquiry to see if a match, home visit if applicable and a working relationship to follow Lilly's care.
