My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Howie is a 6 month old pitty from a small shelter in CA. Since he has been in Oregon, he has quickly transitioned into being a cuddly family dog. He loves every person and dog he has met so far but has not had the chance to meet a cat or child (since coming here). He is mostly housetrained although he still has accidents occasionally. Howie is a very gentle boy that does not guard food or toys and plays well with the others. He loves running outside, getting his paws wiped at the door, then snuggling on the couch for a movie. He does not like being alone but does fine being left with another dog and sleeps alone in a kennel (in the bedroom) all night with no problems. Howie’s ideal home would be where someone, person or dog, can be with him to play and cuddle. He is very smart and has been learning basic commands with the reward of cheerios, his favorite treat.
