Cowboy's Info...

Cowboy's Story...
I am a very special boy who has some special needs. I came from a not-so-good home and I was taken in by the staff here and I've been under their care for several months. I had a really bad skin condition for a while and I was pretty skinny. I have since gotten much better and it was discovered that I have severe allergies! I require a special diet, allergy medicine, and sometimes ear treatments. My personality was not affected by any of my life events though, because I still love to play and go for walks! I'll talk to you too, if you like. I am finally available for adoption after being cleared by the vet, so please come see me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cowboy, a Sierra Vista German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Sierra Vista, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Sierra Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sierra Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sierra Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sierra Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
