Dakota's Story...
Dakota is a very sweet girl who is currently a very nervous, timid dog. She likes to hide when new people are around and will only come out if she is comfortable with the person, and it takes sometime for her to become comfortable with anyone. She even closes her eyes if you come near to her as if she believes she disappears not being able to been seen. We are working with her and when she is on a leash she has much more confidence. She also likes our other dogs and is comfortable with them. If you like to come meet this sweet shy girl, please contact us to make an appointment.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dakota, a Reidsville Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Reidsville, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Reidsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Reidsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Reidsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Reidsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
