Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Blind Dog Rescue Alliance will transport within reasonable distance. Friendly little Fiona is being fostered in Tennessee.
Fiona is:
*housebroken
*great with cats!
*loves car rides
*respects baby gates
*sleeps through the night on her dog bed
*gentle
*mostly blind, can see shadows but is well adjusted to her lower vision
*loves people!
This is what Fiona's foster mom has to say about Fiona:
Are you looking for a sweet petite girl to add to your family? Look no further! Not tiny and not big, little Fiona is the perfect size at just 20 pounds. She has the softest coat and loves to snuggle up for petting. Not much gets this happy girl down, one of her favorite things is to spend time with her foster family and she will quietly follow her foster mom wherever she goes. She will roll over onto her back if you hold her and go right to sleep! How sweet is that?
Fiona is a wonderful housemate, you couldnt ask for better! She will not get up on the furniture unless invited, she makes use of her doggie bed during the day and overnight. When you are sitting, she is content to lay at your feet. She is respectful of a baby gate and is comfortable being gated in the kitchen with her little bed if needed. She also loves car rides, so if you want to just take her with you when you go out, she is ready!
This funny girl LOVES cats! She would be so happy with a cat brother or sister...so if you have one, or are willing to adopt one for Fiona, its a perfect match!
Fiona does seem to have some sight, possibly can see shadows. She is diabetic and takes insulin shots twice daily without any issue at all. It is easy to give a dog insulin shots and most, like Fiona, do perfectly well taking them. Just a dog treat and she is good to go!
This awesome girl is so deserving of a home, such an easy little dog.
She loves her people!! She rolls over for belly rubs, gives kisses and sits up for her dinner. Fiona loves car rides and is an excellent travel companion.
Fiona will need to be the only doggie in the home but wouldn't mind a dog friendly kitty buddy to play with!
Blind Dog Rescue Alliance has voted against the use of electric fencing effective immediately.
