My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oliver is an energetic five-year-old purebred Weimaraner who loves to do everything with the family. He enjoys the outdoors, and laying in the sun while you work in the yard. He’s always happy, and needs a dog-lover who sees the affection and loyalty in his attentive liveliness.
At night Oliver wants to sleep against you and get under the covers if you’ll let him. He’s very trainable and very lovable. Oliver weighs about 70 lbs, but will still try to curl up in your lap. Oliver needs a home with a fenced yard (not invisible fence) and a family who doesn't need to leave him alone regularly for long hours.
(An adoption donation of $400 is required.)

If you have previously submitted an application form, there is no need to re-apply. Just let us know you're interested in this dog. We do our best to match families and dogs so everyone is pleased and the placement is permanent. We reserve the right to refuse an applicant if the home situation is incompatible with the needs of the rescue dog. Rescue is about doing our best for the dog. We do home and reference checks. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and are up to date with current vaccinations, before being placed in their forever homes.
