Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sara came to us from Detroit Animal Control. She struck our eye not only because of her looks, but she had a terrible case of heartworm. She is still getting treatment for heartworm, so she would benefit from a foster, or an adopter that is able to help her. She gets along with most dogs and doesn't seem to mind cats. Sara would benefit from an experienced owner because she is scared in the beginning, but once she opens up, she will be begging for your attention. Sara would prefer older children because of her being scared, they must understand that Sara needs personal space and cannot be in her face. Once Sara is cleared from heartworm, she would benefit from daily exercise and love.
