LAUREL is one of 12 darling purebred pups that were rescued after their heartless owner brought them to the shelter all jammed into a single pet carrier! As of mid-October, they are 14 weeks old. They are current on their puppy shots, and will be spayed/neutered prior to placement. They all have docked tails and natural ears. Potential adopters should research the breed to determine whether a Dobie is a good fit for their lifestyle. Dobies are loyal, sensitive and extremely athletic dogs. Having the time and willingness to socialize, exercise, and train a Dobie puppy is a must. To begin the adoption process, please send an email to: dobermanpinschers2008@yahoo.com telling us a little bit about yourself and your household. Adoption requirements include meeting all family members and any resident dog(s), a home visit, adoption fee, and adoption agreement.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LAUREL, a Los Angeles Doberman Pinscher puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher puppy from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
