Polo's Story...
If you are looking for a great all around family pet. Look no further. I am a one and half year old male 58 pound hound/shepherd mix, that is the biggest goof ball ,and loves other dogs and children and especially when they give me belly rubs. I have had a sheltered life up until now, but my foster mom and dad are taking me to dog park everyday, where I am having a blast and they have lots of nice people over to the house all the time, and they slip me treats which I like a lot. I am neutered with all my up to date shots. Call Linda to stop by and meet me at, 917 319 4304

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Polo, a Long Beach Hound (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
