for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Gunny's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Gunny's Story...
Gunny is just.....Gunny!!! This sweet boy is four months old and weighs four pounds...maybe... he is so tiny!! He loves everyone and loves life in general. He would do great with another dog in the home. However, if there are children in the home, they must be at least 10 years old. We don't want to risk Gunny getting injured by accident because of his small size.

If you are interested in adding Gunny to your family, please go to www.goofyfootrescue.org to complete an online adoption application. He is currently being fostered in west Tennessee. He will be transported once his adoption is finalized. Gunny will be ready for transport the weekend of March 31/April 1. Transport runs to the following cities: Harrisonburg, VA; Hagerstown, MD; Harrisburg, PA; Allentown, PA; Bedminster, NJ; Southington, CT; Willington, CT.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gunny, a Allentown Dachshund/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
