My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Riot and two of her juvenile kittens arrived together this past March from a home where one of the residents was not treating them well. Riot, who is between 2-3 years old, has an old, untreated eye injury that resulted in permanent corneal scarring on her left eye. She doesn't let that slightly limited vision slow her down, and is enjoying learning how to play! She is a sweet and affectionate girl who we think will really blossom once she is in a stable, predictable household. She would do fine as an only cat, or could adapt to a home with a friendly but not pushy resident cat.

Riot is independent enough to give you your space, but affectionate enough to provide that rumbling, purring background against your chest on a cold winter's afternoon, bundled up watching Lifetime movies with mulled wine and dark chocolate.

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Riot is suggested minimum $40 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners.
