Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is Daisy. I’m a small husky mix, I’m about 7 months old and I’m a super-cool little lady. My previous Human didn’t treat me so great. He made me afraid of everything, including people. Then my foster dad came along, saw me tied to a tree. I tried my best to make myself as small as possible because I didn’t want to get hurt again. He spoke to my Human and must have said the right words, because next thing I knew I was untied from a tree and riding in the back of his car with my new foster dad talking really nice to me. I was loaded with itchy, bitey fleas, had a big, swollen belly and my ears were bothering me. I didn’t really trust anyone, and would just stay put, flattened on the ground, especially when I had a leash on. I figured it was safer that way
But now? Wow! I feel GREAT and LOVE EVERYONE! People, dogs, cats, my stuffed duck…just, just…everyone!! My foster mom and dad give me cuddles and kisses, ALL. THE. TIME! My furry foster brothers and sister play with me and sleep with me and aren’t mean to me even when I climb up on them. Even the weird, furry not-dogs, with pointy ears and yellow eyes are cool with me. I love, love to play zoomies with my little Chihuahua foster brother in the yard and I’m working on my commands, and walking on a leash. I do an excellent sit, even when I’m not asked. I can lay down, and fetch. I’m almost fully house-trained, surprising my foster mom and dad with my super not-pooping-or-peeing-in-the-house routine (I should keep that up, ‘cause they seem to like it.) I’m good in the crate too… I’ll even go in without being asked when my mom and dad have to leave for work. It’s comfy and I get to hang out with my duck and I get SNACKS! I love what my mom calls “healthy” treats. I love carrots and bananas and apples and string beans… I am so very happy now. It’s good to know, not all Humans are mean. Now I gotta go play…..hmmm, where’s my duck?
