Meet little Dollie. Dollie, is well, a doll!!
This special little girl came to us thru a local shelter as a result of having suffered head trauma. She was picked up as a stray, blind, unable to properly walk. We don't know how this came to be, only that she needed a rescue to step up and give her what she needed most - a safe place to heal. The ability of dog's to rebound from trauma never ceases to amaze us. This little girl is full of happiness and love!! She gets along great with all the dogs in her foster home and all humans are her best friend!! Cats are uninteresting. This sweetheart is young, we are estimating her at just under a year. She acts like a puppy, she's so happy all the time!
Dollie's favorite things are being in the yard with the other dogs and her foster parents, sunning, or running around doing zoomies in a happy glee! And she loves being in your arms or on your lap being loved and cuddled.
Dollie does have a couple of things that her new parents need to be willing to work with and around. Most importantly is that her eyesight has never returned 100%. It seems that her field of vision is limited, therefore, we will not place her in a home where that could potentially be an issue. The other point of need is that she is still not completely housebroken. This may or may not change as we will never truly know the extent of her brain trauma. However, in every other way she is the perfect angel.
Dollie is a petite 4.5 pounds. She needs to live in an all adult home due to her size and her special needs status.
