Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Peanut is STILL waiting for a chance at a family. He has had so many visitors but he is just shy upon meeting( normal chihuahua behavior) . He warms up in a day or so but I guess people want the dog they are meeting to jump on them, scratch their legs and lick their face and bounce off the walls, which they would also do with visitors by the way. That is not Peanut. I personally prefer a low key, quiet, calm, sweet, loveable kind of dogs and that he is ! He is also house broken, crate trained and would do fine with cats. But wait there are more good things about him ! Peanut loves car rides, walks, sleeping in bed and hanging out on the sofa. He is also young at just 4 to 5 years old, loves to play with other dogs. So why can't he find a home? Because he is shy upon meeting. So if all the wonderful things that Peanut IS sound like a good match for you, let us know. Peanut is working at being a 9 lb. chihuahua, he is over weight but slimming down slowly.
