Benjamin's Story...
Needs immediate placement! Benjamin is a wonderful 3- 4 year old Foxhound mix. He is fully vetted and lives with other dogs and cats. He is a little timid at first, but is just the sweetest guy. His owner had a a major change in lifestyle due to illness, and he was a little traumatized when we picked him up, but he walks well on a leash and is very respectful. No food aggression or guarding either.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Benjamin, a New Hartford Foxhound/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Foxhound/Labrador Retriever for sale in New Hartford, or seeking a Foxhound/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in New Hartford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Hartford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Hartford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Foxhound/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Foxhound/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Hartford paves the way for another one to be saved.
