March 2017: Oh my goodness, it doesn't get any cuter than this girl!
Lily is just a sweet baby who has had a rough start. She is about 6 months old as of mid-March and is a German Shepherd/Boxer mix Her family was not able to care for her any more due to an illness in the human family, resulting in Lily being crated a lot and not getting what she needed. It was a very hard decision for them but they knew it was best for sweet Lily to find a home with more time and ability to work with her.
She lived with two other dogs in her former home and is with three dogs now in foster and is doing well. Lily lived with children and did just fine, was just an overzealous and rapidly growing puppy so she doesn’t know the kids were not litter mates to rough and tumble with.
Since coming into foster care, Lily is already making good progress in house training and manners. She loves the snow (check out her video) and will make someone an incredibly wonderful family member.

If you find a dog you would like to meet, our expectation is that, once approved, you will travel to meet the dog in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
