Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pannini is a two-year-old grey and white female cat. Originally a kindly resident brought her to us, she had been abandoned by residents that had moved out of the neighborhood. He indicated that she had borne a litter of kittens and lost them, they didn’t survive the birth. It was understandable, because our poor girl was thin, starving, dirty and terribly afraid. Our staff and volunteers went to work, caring for this gentle girl and reassuring her she was going to be ok, and life was going to be greatly improved for her. Pannini was adopted recently and returned; unfortunately, it was not the best match for either Pannini or the new family. Pannini’s new owner leads a very active life with a busy schedule, and with a child involved in many after school activities, was constantly on the go and away from home. This may have triggered memories of her original abandonment, and Pannini withdrew further into herself. We think a quiet home with another cat for company will be just what our Pannini needs to blossom. If that’s you, come meet Pannini!
At PAAWS RI, all of the cats that come into our care are spayed/neutered, receive a rabies vaccination, distemper vaccinations, de-worming, flea treatment, microchipping, and testing for Feline Leukemia/FIV.
