Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jax is a 5 year young, happy Australian Cattle Dog mix at the perfect size of around 35 lbs.! Jax is a bit nervous with new people but once, he's comfortable, he's so sweet, loving, and loyal, and builds such a strong bond.
Jax is super intelligent, housetrained, does not mark or lift his leg, knows how to use a doggie door, and knows lots of commands and is easy to walk.
He has lived with two medium/large dogs and can potentially live with other appropriate, tolerant medium dogs if introduced properly. Jax plays very well with his foster parent's medium-sized dog. He has also lived with cats and is fine with mellow ones. He has also lived with foster kittens on several occasions and has done very well with them.
Jax' ideal home would be fairly calm and quiet adult household (no children) but with an active lifestyle and access to yard. Jax loves to go for long walks and hikes and to explore new places, fetch tennis balls, chew on bones and toys, find toys or food, and work for treats. He can also entertain himself well and does not appear to have any separation anxiety or similar issues. He mainly rests quietly when alone. Check out this fantastic dog!
