An Asset to Any Family
There are so many amazing things about Juniper. She loves every human she has ever met, from babies to 80's. Our 6 yr-old niece can literally lay on top of her, pull on her ears and jowls, and she just wags her tail because she loves human attention. She is incredibly smart and extremely well trained and well behaved.
Juniper knows how to come, sit, down, stay, leave it, heal, and place very well. Her heal is spot on. Which is why she can go on walks in neighborhoods with stranger dogs all around. I just tell her to heal, and she stays right by me and ignores the other dogs. If you tell her to place on her bed, she will stay there till you release her with "ok." I usually do this when the doorbell rings. Since she has that protector instinct with me, I don't always want her to go to the door with me if it’s like a delivery guy or possible someone with a dog. She does fine in the crate. We originally got her from the pound, so of course she was used to being in a crate more than free. She Also does fine alone and loose in the house and is not destructive.
