My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Obie is a 7 year old, 60 lb "special needs" collie mix. He is a sweet, silly, loving boy that loves to lay at (or more accurately, on) your feet all day. He is never seen without a goofy smile on his face! He loves sniffing around outside and rolling in the grass, but most importantly loves being with his owner. He has always struggled with anxiety, which makes him feel especially scared to be alone, so he needs a home with an owner that can be with him much of the day. His anxiety has manifested mostly into panting and pacing around the house, but he is now on medication that has helped him feel more calm. In the right home with a confident and present owner, he might not even need the medication anymore! Because of his fears though, he does not care for other dogs or young children, so an adult-only family without other pets is a must. He knows basic commands and loves going for walks. Overall he is an incredibly sweet and happy puppy, he just needs love and attention and a stable home a by calm and experienced family. Recently the owner had to take a new position that requires 50% travel, which is the reason she has to give him up. Courtesy Listing. 970-353-1385
