DOGGIE BIO:
Duke is looking for a new home! He is a 12 year old senior, neutered, standard doxie. Due to the sudden, unexpected death of his owner, he has been temporarily staying with a friend since 3/13, but she cannot keep him. Duke loves walks, treats and playing with other dogs, but also enjoys the occasional nap - who wouldn't?! Although he is a senior, he still has a pep in his step and lot of love and life to give!

ODR, INC. ADOPTION CRITERIA (aka Our Fine Print):
Based on 30 years of experience with rescue doxies, we have pretty strict criteria for dogs that we adopt and that we recommend to owners whose doxies we list courtesy posts for, the sole aim of which is to facilitate a successful adoption with a forever family.
*Do you work from home/stay at home/work part time?
*Have a securely fenced yard?
*We do not place same gender dogs in a home unless they were raised together, and *Children need to be 12 or older (some exceptions IF the dog is a puppy or the child has been raised with a doxie).
*We prefer non smokers and a home with no other small animals (ferrets, hamsters, etc). *Cats are on a case by case basis depending on the dog.
Remember these are rescues, many were surrendered because of these or similar issues.
