My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kuscheln means cuddler or snuggler in German and that is exactly what this sweet girl does. We do not know much about her earlier life other than she and another pit mix were surrendered together at the shelter. After her companion was adopted and she was left behind, she quickly started to "shut down" and get depressed. She had a great advocate market her to try and get her out of the rural shelter she was in and we were able to step up to get her. And are we glad we were able to. This is the sweetest little pit ever! She weighs 40 lbs and wants nothing other than to be with her person and lay next to them. She is great with all dogs and is fine around cats. She is blind in one eye. The vet is guessing she may have had a stick poke her eye. It's cloudy, but she is not in pain.
She was heartworm positive, but she went through heartworm treatment just before coming to us and has to spend another 3 to 4 weeks at her foster staying quiet while recuperating. She is doing just fine.
Also rides great in a car and is housebroken.

Approved application and fee will apply.
