Here's what the humans have to say about me:
3/29/17 - Meet Frances! - no longer accepting applications
Frances is a sweet girl and great with kids (and most adults). She has gotten on well with our cat. She has trust issues with some people -- not aggressive at all, just afraid. She has loved almost every dog she's met and plays great with them.
She a great dog, and all our friends are very impressed with her. She doesn't chase cars, loves kids, learned house rules remarkable quickly, knows some hand signals, doesn't beg, bark or whine at us. She is quiet and very low-maintenance. She learned to respect her invisible fence very quickly. She does well in the car and on leash.
She has (puppy?) anxiety over a couple of other things (bikes, the wind banging the barn door). She is puppy-like in that she nips at us when we go sledding by her. We don't use a crate often, but when we have, she was ok with it. She is fully house-trained. She doesn't counter-surf or scratch furniture, doors or floors. She has a bladder like a camel
Frances is 39 lbs and about ten months old at end of March.
The adoption fee of $350 includes age-appropriate vaccines, initial de-worming, spay/neuter surgery, microchip, USDA interstate health certificate (for transport only) and transport fee. Please go to our site for general information and the adoption application. fordogssakerescue.org. The application is the first step in all adoptions/inquiries. This is not a link; please type in into a new browser window. At this time, we are unable to adopt to Rhode Island residents. Please note: Pups marked “pending” are adopted but not yet traveled home. They are to be considered unavailable. Thank you. Additional information is available on our site fordogssakerescue.org.
