Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Chevy, as in "Chevy SS". This boy is an "SS" in every way. He's Super Sweet, Super Smart and Super Sized! Chevy is in search of a new home and a human companion experienced with German Shepherd Dogs. He's one of the sweetest boys you'll meet and loves attention, well, demands attention is more like it. He's an active young man and loves to play with toys. He'll chase a ball as long as someone will throw it! He likes to go anywhere his buddies go and loves walks and car rides as well.
Chevy's potty trained and knows the word to go, as well as several other words and commands!
Chevy is protective of the house and has a large voice, but will stop when asked. He's a bit reactive when meeting new people and dogs when out on walks, but we've been working on it and he's getting better. Chevy minds very well and is easy to redirect, so he just needs someone willing to work with him. He'd do well in training as he's extremely smart and listens well! Because Chevy's a large active boy, he needs a big yard and someone who will take him on a long walk, or run, and mentally challenged everyday. Chevy's been around small children and done well, but because of his activity level and size, he would probably do better with older children.

Chevy plays well with his GSD foster family but small dogs and cats probably would not be a good idea. Chevy's perfect home would be one that has GSD experience and the time and willingness to take him to training and the follow-up that he needs, you would then have the pleasure of an amazing GSD! Chevy is an active boy and just needs structure in his life.
If Chevy sounds like the perfect fit for you and your lifestyle, please go to our website and fill out an application and lets find this Super Star the perfect forever home!!!
